A dissection of the queer Mexican experience.
Project Overview

This is an ongoing collection that explores the chaotic wonder of being a trans latine person navigating the world. Each work in this collection exists as an artistic representation of an emotion or experience that I have had; with each work I am trying to capture and translate the unexplainable. The lived experience of POC LGBTQ+ individuals is a journey that is something that is impossible to describe in just word, it goes from vibrant and psychedelic to bleak. I'm trying to show this, but insert my personal experience into it. Write what you know, essentially. I choose to display this through experimentation with materials, and iteration in theme but not specific subject matter. The goal for this practice is to eventually have a gallery space with just this work being shown.
